What does it mean?  

Cruelty-free nail polish refers to any nail polish that did not involve animal testing at any stage of its production. Companies that are cruelty-free do not test any of their products on animals, or pay third-party entities to do so.

In general, cruelty free products are healthier and less toxic for your body. This is because most conventional skincare products are filled with toxins and harsh chemicals, most of which you may not even know the origin.  

Why it matters? 

We believe animal testing is cruel and unnecessary.  There are thousands of natural and organic ingredients that have been proven to be safe and toxin free that companies can use to formulate their products versus testing harmful chemicals and ingredients on animals.   

Nail Magic® does not test any of our products on animals.  

 We are excited to announce that our new NOURISH Nail Strengthener and Conditioner is free of over 10 known harmful chemicals - Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde Resin, Xylene, Parabens, TPHP, Ethyl Tosylamide, Dimethicone, Aluminum Powder, Tert-butyl hydroperoxide and Butyl Benzyl Phthalate. 

It contains the following three ingredients providing vitamins, minerals, and proteins to your natural nail.  These key ingredients benefit healthy and strong nail growth by aiding in the strength of the natural keratin, assisting in hydration and protection.

Keratin- a natural protein that makes up the nails. Including Hydrolyzed Keratin adds more protein strength and works to build up the strength of the existing proteins.  High amounts of amino acids, keratin is invaluable when it comes to nail plate regeneration. It hardens the nail plate and helps it become thicker.  Resulting in less breakage and helps prevent splitting from occurring. 

Argan Oil- Rich in vitamin E adds moisture to the nail helping with splitting and cracking.  Adding vitamins to the nail is a nourishing act of helping it stay hydrated and also provides antioxidant properties to protect the nails. Adding moisture back into the nail helps prevent them from becoming brittle. 

Bamboo Extract- Rich in the mineral Silica adds many benefits to the strength of the nail and protects the nail. Silica is also known to have antioxidant properties to help protect the nail.
